Anyone familiar with this Pigpen ditty? It was played once on 07/12/70 at the Fillmore (real futuristic) East in the acoustic first set? I've been following this bunch since the late 60's and today is the first reference I 've ever seen to it. Anyone know if this show is or has been circulated?

if you go back to that link and hit show owners,it will list all the folks who have that show.contact a few of them and ask for a cdr mail trade, let them know you don't do shn and i'm sure someone will help you out.i don't have that show yet,but will in a few a month or two.one of the torrent sites i visit is doing a 70's project,it will pop up then.check back with me in feb, should have it by then.

I bring this up because we had a "family" of hippies that lived in the woods behind our house in the 70's. They built these amazing/eloborate log cabins and all this other stuff that they lived in back there. We of course took it over in the late 70's and 80's to party in after they had vactated it. I was just wondering.

I found the MkW tool via Phil's web site (PhilZone) a couple of years ago, just follow the FAQ's and the etree links there (http://etree.org/mkw.html). They spell it all out step by step. Biggest trick is to make sure you download the associated *.mp5 files with each disc's worth of tracks. Then, include those mp5 files with all the shn's for the show into mKw for it to work.

As far as iPod, once you get the shn's on to your hard drive and then "decompress" them to wav files (WHAT MKW DOES), you'll still have to re-shrink them down to something the iPod can absorb....iTunes probably does that from the WAV files.

mKw is pretty basic and simple, and yet has somehow gotten a lot of grief. It's worked flawlessly for me. I just convert to WAV, burn to CD and stick 'em in the car system, without losing any quality by recompressing them down to some smaller sized format like mP3 or the iPod version.

Peace and good Luck!

Good question and I think it is but its a different program but from the same web page so still go there. I know I have seen a program for it lately for O/S. Some on here use a program called Traders Little Helper but I couldnt get it to work right but by all means try it if the one I gave does work or isnt compatable. Let me know I can help you through it because like I said I struggled for weeks figuring it out but finally made to the other side. I sympathize with you because what you are searching for is the same stuff I was searching for and its only in SHN/FLAC. I am more than willing to help you along the way.
